The TRUTH about Butterflies, Eagles, and Diamonds

Re-birth, transformation, renewal, and awakening analogies abound!  We all know the one about the caterpillar...who wouldn't want the beautiful wings of a butterfly?  Personally I LOVE the cocoon and the peace, quiet, and lack of expectations that image brings for me....it feels so restful...turning completely within.  I love my inner world and never cease to amuse myself there.  However, the truth is that the caterpillar is probably feeling anything but rested!

An eagle re-birth story is painfully inspirational (but not necessarily true:  http://www.hoax-slayer.com/rebirth-of-the-eagle-hoax.shtml) as the eagle in its 40's knocks its beak against a rock, rips out its own talons and feathers and grows them back to live another 30 years.  

Then there is the diamond that probably did NOT come from coal.  Like us, diamonds could come from earth (deep source or subduction zone) or outer space (asteroid impacts) based on this article:  http://geology.com/articles/diamonds-from-coal/

The truth is that it doesn't matter if these analogies are factually true.  There is a different kind of truth...a heart truth that is not dependent upon this 3 dimensional realm.  The TRUTH is that we KNOW as humans we are meant to transform and that it is a process.  We don't know how to describe it so we lean on story and analogy to communicate a multidimensional concept in this limited realm.

Personally, I've been in a cocoon for about 6 weeks - pretty much since the beginning of 2012. My re-invention-transformation-coal-shedding-nesting-turning inward process is coming to a close and I sense it is time to step out or step into a bigger ME.  I have new feathers on my wings.  I don't recognize parts of me as the old familiar energy I held for so long.  I am new and interesting to myself.  The world is new and interesting because I am bringing new and interesting energy to it.  

The TRUTH about butterflies, eagles, and diamonds is simply that energy will be transformed.  EveryTHING is temporary because energy(love) is infinite.  When the infinite meets the temporal, transformation is inevitable!
