Sending Comfort

I would like to ask you to send comfort to Charlie Rogers and people that have been victims of hate crimes, especially people that have been targeted because they were gay, lesbian, trans, queer. Last week a 33 year old woman from Lincoln, Nebraska who identifies as a lesbian, was tied up, mutilated by three masked intruders who carved homophobic slurs into her skin. They also spray painted homophobic slurs on her garage wall. There are many hate crimes that go unnoticed, not covered properly in the media, nor are their cases taken seriously. The police even said that this incident may have been a hoax.

If you can take a moment of your day to light a candle and send comfort to her, I would be so grateful.
