Relationship Mirrors

I had lunch with my dear friend Jean today. We have some common friends so we were asking if either of us had heard from them. We enjoyed a friendly laugh that our friend Kim posted almost daily on facebook leading up to her birthday and even posted, "did I mention that my birthday is in x days?" We enjoyed comparing notes about our friend Michelle who always eludes scheduling lunch dates and then bemoans how we never get together.

I checked my email after lunch and Kim sent one that was thanking me for a youtube video link and said that she especially loved that it had been posted to youtube on her birthday.

Jean had thanked me for lunch on facebook and the Michelle commented, "congratulations on getting Jean out of the house!"

If our relationships are mirrors, then Jean and I saw our assumptions be correct, Kim saw her birthday over and over, and Michelle saw another missed lunch.

I am just being open to how the relationships in my life are mirrors. I felt called to connect with another old friend today from what feels like a lifetime ago. I am deeply connected with this friend in nonordinary reality - we are soul friends, but this lifetime has us traveling paths that do not intersect much. This relationship seems to reflect back to me much love but also indecision and disempowerment as this person's light has dimmed over the years by the weight of consensual reality. There is a sadness and energy given to what is missing or lacking verses what is wonderful.

I love the Abraham-Hicks "Isn't is wonderful that...." kind of language! Isn't it wonderful that relationships are a mirror for me? Isn't it wonderful that I am attracting more and more life-affirming and joyful relationships? Isn't it wonderful that the level of love and intimacy in my life makes me feel so alive and connected?

Isn't it wonderful that I have this beautiful soulgarden and every one of the beautiful souls I connect with here? Isn't it wonderful that you beautiful souls are a reflection of my love and I am a reflection of yours?

another theme Stephanie for many of us; recognizing who our mirrors are; our soul mirrors whether they reflect the good the bad and the ugly back at us while we transform it into love and beauty.
