Pop Goes the Weasel

G'Day Twiins and Soulgarden ;)

The Twiins are working on the 4th house: Home, family, foundation, and self-nurturing.

About ten years ago, I had a corporate manager who told one of my very favorite managers "To think outside of the #@!%*#@ box". My heart sank because I knew how much hard work my manager gave to the company and I could not believe he would say such an awful thing. However, I decided that I would take that statement and turn it into something positive. I was in my little jack-in-the-box world and never got cranked to see outside of the box. I was defining my world by what my parents said so or what my religion said but one day the universe allowed me to peek outside of the box. Now, every time I hear the music, I get excited to see what is outside of that box.

One of the gifts that I give to my daughter is showing her how to think outside of the box. The world is much bigger than your house, your school, your language, your country and your religion. In fact, it is so big that you can imagine ANYTHING! I tell her to that she is responsible for her own happiness and she can have and do whatever her heart desires. I am reminding myself to think outside of the box every time I remind her. ;)

For me, it really took getting out of the American box to see that there are infinite ways to live this life. Now, I can hear the different music playing. Soulgarden is one of the songs that I was so blessed to hear.

I am lovingly sending you the song "POP goes the weasel" to remind you to look outside of your box. Speaking of boxes (ha ha), I am lovingly releasing the boxes of things that no longer are needed around the house to someone else who can benefit from them.
