Neptune's Coming!!! Talk to me...

OMG! I can hardly contain my excitement about being the new Virgo Writer ...and just when I was hoping for a new scribing challenge! For too long now, my life has felt too unsettled to allow for a good channelling routine, and with so many shift-related ups and downs, and the general emotional, spiritual and material complexities they bring, I’ve been increasingly drawn into sharing my feelings and thoughts in The Garden. In fact, for some time now, it’s been a BIG distraction!! So, really, it just makes sense for me to now be structuring my ramblings in this way. It’s truly a joy to be part of an online community that’s alive and thriving, sharing and caring, and I consider it an honour to soon be writing for my fellow SG Virgos-peeps! As someone who’s 5 times a Virgo: that’s Sun, Moon, Mercury, Uranus and Ascendant, I’m a pretty conclusive example of the species and I can’t wait to share my thorough scavenging for scrummy Virgo details movements, trends and evolutions with you, as the weeks go by.

I’m going to start with gorgeous, gorgeous Neptune’s promise of pouring oil on driven waters, come February (or rather, pouring water on this Mars-parched Virgo desert) with it’s delectable drifting into our lovely 7^th house of all things yummy and loved-up. Okay, he’s not quite here yet, but I can feel him... hovering... waiting to waft wantonly into his natural home, Pisces, somewhere at the height of the luscious Valentine month.

I might gush on about this in weeks to come, and I would looove to hear your experiences of him. But for now, let’s just also pop in a quick tribute to the late and wonderful Etta James and simply say... At laaaaaaaaast.....!!!

As we patiently await our regal watery one’s celebrated arrival, Mars has now backtracked recklessly into retro for a while (phew)! Actually, some of us will secretly enjoy the break, but according to most of our most beloved astrologers, things could get frustratingly mellow for us virgins on a mission, who kind of just about got used to the old fire-starter’s whip-cracking ways! However, perhaps the universe is not without its mercies, as many of our favourite star-watchers also describe an almost utopian understanding of love dawning in our Virginal hearts and also in the heart of the infamous ‘collective unconscious’ heralded by the arrival of the magnificent, aquatic one. Perhaps as we slowly begin to realise that the only mission that really stirs the heart into sustained and courageous action is one that’s motivated purely by love, we’ll grow to adore our trident-wielding, oceanic demi-god as much as we’ve grown to love the Martian! In fact, let me just pause to make note of the fact that the word courage means something like, ‘of the heart.’ So my sense is that perhaps some of us will actually be more motivated with Neptune in Pisces/7th than we were with Mars in Virgo... moved by the rousing passions of the heart.

When I tune into the grid of archetypal forces involved, this feels like an energy I can work with. Neptune in Pisces feels like a loving friend who gently coaxes me into sharing my gifts with the world. Whereas Mars in Virgo has felt, at times, like an over-ambitious, bullying older brother, trying to morph me into a go-getter, when all I want to do is take time to make everything perfect and beautiful and make sure everyone is happy. Neptune in Pisces feels like that benign 1970s schoolteacher who teaches you about CND and Tarot Cards and Sufi-ism when, actually, you’re supposed to be in detention... Then one day, what do you know!!!! You’re suddenly working for an NGO, or as a magician, mystic or psychic and loving it, but have no idea how it happened! Gosh it’s so nice to be getting back into a softer space for a while. Ahhhh, Neptune in Pisces in 7th!! Hey...! Where I come from, that’s twin flame talk!!!

So it finally looks as if it’s time for the nation famed for our dotting of i s and crossing of ts to begin smiling with our eyes, unclenching our thighs and reaching to the skies for inspiration... in...a very... grounded... sensible sort of way... I mean... you know, just flow with it, man, roll with it baby... Er... hmmm... Like I said, not very Virgoan, but give my Earthiness that water over that prolonged, Mars-fuelled roasting, any day!!! Okay, I might be missing that Martian heat just a tad, but ...not so much!

Personally, I’m looking forward to experiencing a baptism of the watery kind. The kind that makes our precious, creative soil nice and fertile! A chance to toy with the possibility that all we really need to do is delve deeper to find a different kind of drive and motivation, to compensate for Mars’ sudden cheeky retreat, leaving us high and dry, just when things were beginning to get interesting! By the time he comes back in April, perhaps we’ll be feeling replenished and watered enough to make good use of another sweltering rocket ride to the red planet! In the meantime, some of us will fall in love, and feel a fresh burst of inspirational motivation just for that reason alone!

Thank you everyone for making me feel so loved in this community. I hope to bring you some really joyful gems, for as long as my heart burns for the task... a true labour of love. Thank you Courtney and Violet for all the Virgo-wondrousness you’ve spread throughout the Garden. I’m so proud to be here with you in this 12^th of the zodiac pie! You made it totally rock again to be a Virgo! Rock on my fellow Virgins and all Virgo-Lovers! Come out wherever you are and do NOT be ashamed of your laundry-soap-lovin’ ways. Your time has come!!! Whichever way you look at it, after a few gruelling years, it’s playtime folks! Thank you Christopher, Carloyn and all Directors of LOVE... I see you :)

I’d love to know what other Virgo-folk are feeling about these two major movers and shakers in the Milky Way. How do fire and water move YOU to take action... How will love motivate you, now that the heat is finally off for a while, and love is (nearly) here to stay... :)

And I am really happy to see how powerfully you are feeling the Neptune Energy. Mars has been my latest passion; as far as I'm concerned, it can stay Retrograde ALL the time! Isn't it amazing to see the difference between how the Energies affect The World, Society, The 12 Signs, and how each and every person feels The Universe in their own, unique way? AH! I Love this post so much! Thank you Thank you THANK YOU for diving me deeper into this topic, as I've been kind of glancing over Neptune's way for the past couple of days. I haven't been able to feel him yet, but we've been winking at each other from across the bar. I've got a couple of water planets, like my Jupiter and Chiron in Cancer, but it's really my Pluto in Scorpio that is squirming from some Trining action. ;) Not to mention that Neptune will be conjunct my Ascendent. I am ready to GO with the Floooooow. xoxoxo

I have to tell you that where I am at, we have and we are having as i speak, a inordinate amout of rain this year, and frankly, if I were one to be a rain gear designer, I just may have the ticket to making millions of dollars. I am hoping that it ends, frankly, fearing frost and later frozen slippery ground to drive on. Other than that, don't you just feel a little more mellow? I do. I'm not sure yet if others are getting more mellow and a bit nicer, or, if I am, so in turn it makes others nicer. Either way, I am looking forward to some fresh inspiration, a little more love... xoxoxo gigi

I'm also a Sex-y Virgo:
Venus (29'56 early 11th House), Sun, Mercury, Saturn, North Node, Lilith (the rest in the 10th House)...

And: Neptune 17' is conjunct my Sagittarius Ascendant 18' in the 12th!

Neptune is in a mystical-Guru-magician sign, in its comfortable 12th House, Pisces-ruled 7 veils - we go everywhere together, and I Love him, ever so!

My Moon is in Leo, so I have a Love of Fire that Mars is activating... Though my Natal Mars in Cancer (8th) is a heated bath; relaxed action. I can't seem to really feel all that much action, lately -or ever- despite Mars Transiting back and forth over half my person!

We'll see how this goes, as the Horizon and Shore are sparkling with potential... I look forward to sharing our journeys all together ;)
I also feel quite positive about the Rx journey; all the things you've mentioned sound necessary, timely, and blessed.
(I have no Retrograde planets in my chart! But Pisces SN {4th} makes me very inward and upward as it is, so... to Earth, I must go! I've grown comfortable and patient with the tides that an Rx brings...)

But it looks like Priestess Virgo is having two significant relationships with hot men in 2012! The exciting, activating Yang Heat of Mannish Mars, just in time to thank him for the memories, and Power-Couple up with a mystical, magical, vast and sensual King of an entire Element.
He will be right at Home in his sign since the first time Neptune was 'discovered' by modern Earthlings.

Wow... My Mars in Cancer will feel SO much more comfortable with Him...!

I, too, have already been feeling the tides of Neptune, ebbing closer ~ my dreams are constantly watery, currently, and I've been praying for Earthlings to be initiated into the upper echelons of Visionary Dreams and Mystics, rather than the delusional addicts and escapists of ye olden world.

My prayer is that Neptune's Return, full circle, will 'Tabula Rasa' collective consciousness into co-creators of Now.

The recent Solar Storms have showered the sub-conscious with blinding sanity - that still has yet to surface, but has cleared the murky depths of the undersea.
