Happy LoveFest Day - I Love You

Well here we are in 2012 and the first LoveFest Day of the New Year and it's time to tell everyone that you love that you love them. This time the Moon and Venus are joining forces in Pisces so for we Rams that means 12th House issues and we are loving our Divine opportunities for healing our Weeds, Subconscious, and Karma/Past Life energies.

So what does that mean? Well it's the things which are buried or repressed which seem to hide just beneath the surface or our consciousness which when they do show up cause us to sabotage our own progress in life, love, career in fact more areas than you can possibly imagine.

Weeds can be feelings of guilt over something from the past. They can be fears around an event or trauma which was never resolved. They can be programmed beliefs and feelings picked up during childhood from parents, teachers, or peers which hold us back from being our authentic selves now. They can be things which we have carried with us from previous lives even the energy from which is still shackling us in this life.

So now we have a chance to love the Divine opportunity for healing which has been presented to us in order to prepare ourselves for the actual release during our journey through the 12th House in the Sun's transit through Pisces.

So this time around I am loving my opportunity to heal

My fears around commitment in relationships.

My guilt over having hurt others in the past when I have pulled away from relationships without warning due to panic at the thought of being tied down or restricted.

The damage I did to past relationships through lack of trust.

My failure to take chances in the past which has held me back from achieving my own potential

My pain over past and past life hurts and betrayals of others toward me and my trust.

All of the karma which I am still carrying from all of the above which is still causing sabotage in my present life.

I'm sure there are more which will rear their head's as the day moves on but that will do for starters.

So how am I going to achieve this? Well for one thing I shall energetically send love and forgiveness to everyone from my past regardless of whether or not they hurt me or I hurt them and also to my past selves. In order to let go we have to not only forgive the other person but also ourselves and ask that they forgive us. All of this can be done spiritually and energetically without the need to revisit those old situations or indeed people. It's about acknowledging the lesson, accepting that we are perfect in the eyes of Creator, then letting go and walking away.

Comment by iAm\Aries on January 27, 2012 at 2:11am: Not entirely sure you get the concept of LoveFest Day ccc or should I say Jay Kay and to answer your question no it is not permission to turn away from those things because we carry emotional baggage which although not strictly karma (I don't entirely buy the traditional idea of karma at all) does affect us because it carries a burden of pain, anger, guilt, or maybe even grief. So those feelings which are carried by the inner child (past self) have to be acknowledged and resolved for us to move on comfortably.

You can repeat some mantra as many times as you want but unless your inner child and unconscious actually believe it nothing will change which is why people get so frustrated with affirmations.

I work in these areas as a therapist and trust me with the right combination of exercises and releasing work you can completely transform your life. It doesn't mean you forget about things from your past but you can put them into the correct perspective.

You talk about responsibility and yes of course you take responsibility for yourself and your feelings but not everyone can do that alone. Say a child who was sexually abused at 6 years old by someone who came into the family home every weekend and who took advantage of the fact that she was sleeping on the couch because she was unwell and her grandmother was in the kitchen making him coffee. She kept it to herself because she didn't know how to deal with it so nothing was ever done to help her then. These events having left her repressed, fearful and unable to enjoy being physically intimate with a man long into adulthood. So does she have to take responsibility for that now that she is an adult? Or does she instead need to send love to that child self and ask that child self to forgive her adult self for not being there to protect her? This is a simplified version of a true event but the point is that the human mind is a complex thing and carries with it a lot of walls and barriers which have to be negotiated in order to release what needs to be.

Once you let go of those fears then you can work with what feels good rather than always having that voice which comes up at times of joy and tells you don't deserve to be happy/loved/in love because you are............. That is the reality for many people they still carry the trauma and it sabotages everything.

So we send love and forgiveness to all areas of that experience and all those involved particularly as if it was a childhood event one or other party may already have crossed over into spirit. We do this because it helps to heal the child within and allows that child to let go of the fear which is now holding back the adult self.

So glad this resonated with you it seems to be the biggest area in need of attention with everyone including many of my clients over the years.

It's all part of taking our power to acknowledge, accept, forgive and love.

Funny... I haven't read the Leo one yet, but Aries being my rising, I always relate... I was talking to my therapist this morning about relationships and my barriers (I haven't identified them with him yet, but am aware of quite a few of them) to them... Right on time with this subject. So, for today, I will be forgiving myself for the barriers I put up, the fears I have of being hurt, of opening myself completely to relationships. I will just openly send out love to all those who are in my life and those who aren't any more.
