I was sitting at the drive thru window at McDonald's this weekend. I did

the usual thing, I drove up to the menu and ordered. I proceeded to the

first window and paid, then drove to the second window and waited for

A friend I've been blessed to make not long ago here in the garden was asking me about abundance and how to let it into our lives. Like many folks, I often struggle with this myself. It can be so easy to get caught up in the illusions of our everyday lives and forget who we are and the things of which we are capable. Today started out as a typical day, my mom and I hiked up Mt Rubidoux this morning. I washed a bunch of dogs, went online. I have a toothache and it was making me irritable. My 18 yr old brother Kevin just got his license about 12 days ago, so when he is going somewhere I usually go with him just to get out of the house.

You see, today could've been a very different day for my family.



My dad suffered a brain aneurism last summer, and we came very close to losing him. The thoughts that run through your mind at a time like that can only be truly understood by someone who's been there.
