sNirvana: Animal Totems by Vicki Jenkins

I felt compelled to share this story. Yesterday and this morning I had a bee that kept coming into my house. ( I keep the back door open when weather permits) I would shoo it out but it wouldn't leave my patio and kept coming in. I finally had the good sense to look up bees on our blessed Vicki's animal totem and one of the things listed was moving through fear, which I have been dealing with (not too successfully) for the last couple of days. I went back to the kitchen and of course there was the bee. This time I told her I had recieved the message, loud and clear, and thanked her. I then got her back outside and she flew off and has not returned.

I am grateful and feel blessed for this message. Blessings and light to all our animal friends and to our dear Vicki Jenkins.

So yesterday whilst in my bedroom I had a bumble bee fly in through the window also a honey bee.  This morning in my kitchen window I had to catch a small honey bee who was desperately trying to get through the glass.  She was completely calm and at ease as I trapped her in a glass with an envelope and when I went outside to release her she continued to just sit there on the envelope cleaning her legs and antennae until I took her to a buttercup flower and encouraged her onto it.  

Seems the messages are coming to me from the bees this weekend.

OMG Vicki it gets more interesting by the day.  There is a robin's nest down on the stable in the clematis and this morning I noticed that right outside my kitchen window in the lilac bush which I have to remove soon (because it is rooting into the foundations of the house) there is a hen blackbird sitting in her beautifully constructed new nest.  No eggs yet that I can see but she has taken up residence so I shall be waiting until she has finished with it before removing the bush.  

I really do seem to be attracting a lot of birdies to me.

Hmm, this is a beautiful site. I absolutely love hearing the sound of animals chirp and sing. One of the most meditative sounds on earth. In the mornings sometimes when I sit in the kitchen, I get to watch all the birds fly around, even in the cold weather! There's an owl that over watches at the tall tree whenever I am up late on the computer. He flew off and made his sound when I went to go look for him yesterday morning.

Oh that should have said nest box not next box LOL

Oooh Vicki I looked out of my bedroom window this morning and saw sparrows, creeping up into the space between my roof and the gutters with beaks full of hay, looks as though I have new nesting residents for this year just above the next box for the bluetits
