Lately here in Soulgarden, Christopher's horoscopes to Pisceans like me have had a very pointed resonance. I don't much believe in coincidence, so when he uses words that have particular significance to me I feel quite strongly the power of those words in the context of my own journey and the process I'm undergoing right now. A friend I've been blessed to make not long ago here in the garden was asking me about abundance and how to let it into our lives. Like many folks, I often struggle with this myself. As a gay Christian, I find the continuing, misguided efforts from the Religious Right to call upon God to change God's beautiful lesbian and gay children to something other than they way the divine spirit created both sad and offensive. To point out the absurdity of these recurring campaigns to "Pray the Gay Away" I've decided to set up a bit of friendly spiritual competition. I just launched a new page on Facebook to serve as a place to show your support for a different "prayer team" to go heads-to-heads with those seeking to change gay and lesbian people. I call this the "Pray the Gay to Stay" campaign.
The idea is simple.
Those who wish can support the "Pray the Gay Away" effort while others support the "Pray the Gay to Stay" effort and we will seen in due course which of these prayer requests God decided to grant.

My first e-book is finished and now available for download. "Maker in the Mirror: A Faithful Mystic's Introduction to Miracles and Manifestation" is 63 pages in length and talks about the basis for manifestation in the fabric of reality, the three essential elements needed for successful manifesting (including one often left out by most people), why the universe may not grant us everything we want, how to determine if you have subconscious programming that blocks your ability to manifest, and the spiritual pitfall of only using manifestation to serve self and selfish goals.
