The glyph for Aquarius represents water -- a universal image dating back into prehistory. These symbolic waves of water, share the dual expression of energy waves vibrating or parallel lines of force. This will also be recognized in the Egyptian hieroglyph representing the same.

Aquarius is an air sign, along with Gemini and Libra. And astrology buffs know that air signs like Aquarius are bursting with so many ideas and plans that it would take several lifetimes to put them all together.

Aquarians are quite ambitious and apply themselves diligently to get the things they desire. They have an inborn talent to turn their dreams into a reality which is a talent admired by many they encounter. This ability is due to the Aquarian's active mind and independent thought. That talent makes them truly remarkable individuals.

An Aquarius appears outwardly to be cool, calm, and confident, though they may harbor internal insecurities. Aquarius is very good at hiding our real emotions from those around us. Though this can result in explosions of anger at the oddest moments over little matters or exhibition of irrational behavior.

Aquarians like to be surrounded by exciting ideas and plans.  They often are involved with many adventures throughout their life.
