Brief Introduction:

From the first moment I created Soulgarden, viewers have asked me if Astrology is in conflict with the teachings of Jesus, The Bible, or any religion for that matter.

"Am I going to hell for watching Soulgarden?"

I certainly hope not .. after all I am named after Jesus! CHRISTopher Witecki.

In my opinion, God created the planets .. so Astrology must be part of his/her plan. (Unless the Devil suddenly has the ability to create planets ... I missed that memo.. and if he does why is he wasting time torturing humans when he could build a universe of his own?)

This is a group for us to get deep on the topics of religion and spirituality. Where are the lines drawn? And--why would there be lines drawn, anyway? Seems we are all God's children and it's time we come together in harmony.

I also welcome healthy debate on the historical facts of the Bible, the forces that have sometimes distorted those facts for personal power, and the teachings of one of the greatest Ascended Masters to ever walk the earth, Jesus Christ.

There was never a moment of decision to not be straight, which is a mistaken notion a lot of people have. In puberty, as the hormones began to change my body, I started to feel physical desire for other boys my age. I remember a sort of "light bulb" moment when I was in the shower one day after gym class drying off with my classmates and noticing their bodies and feeling a very distinct sense of excitement that was unexpected and scary. While I'm able to appreciate physical beauty in women, there has never been a sexual desire for women. In fact, I'm not even particularly attracted to effeminate men. I'm a man who is strongly drawn physically and emotionally to masculine form and energy.

A transvestite gets sexual pleasure from cross-dressing. Most transvestites are heterosexual men who get turned on by dressing in women's clothes. So it's important to not confuse that experience with being gay.

To point out the absurdity of these recurring campaigns to "Pray the Gay Away" I've decided to set up a bit of friendly spiritual competition. I just launched a new page on Facebook to serve as a place to show your support for a different "prayer team" to go heads-to-heads with those seeking to change gay and lesbian people. I call this the "Pray the Gay to Stay" campaign.

The idea is simple.

Those who wish can support the "Pray the Gay Away" effort while others support the "Pray the Gay to Stay" effort and we will seen in due course which of these prayer requests God decided to grant.
