Library Information - Read Me First

If you are anything like me, you believe in the power of the written word and given that power can read yourself to wellness, wholeness and enlightement. =D

I want this club to be a place where we can exchange all the books that we have collectively read and present them as a consolidated list for anyone searching for new materials to read or what to investigate next.

If you have a book to share, please post it in the comments and I will add it to the recommended reading discussion. Once we get a bigger list going, I might break them into categories for easier reference.

Book reviews are encouraged. Tell us what you're currently reading. Ask for opinions from the membership on a book you found but it's not on the list yet.

The only rule I have is this: if it's a kindle or e-copy version of the book, please do not post a copy or link to a copy in this forum unless it is certifiably free. Writers deserve to be paid for their hard work.

Other than that, please share away. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Want to add a feature to the Library, let me know and I'll incorporate it in.

I finished one called the Handbook for the Soul (1995) which is a compilation of short essays by Dyer, Ram Daas, Bernie Segal, Elizabeth Kubler Ross, a wide range of others, all writing about aspects of our souls: nurturing, journey's, lessons, etc. I wasn't sure if I'd like it when I first started reading, but I ended up really liking it. Now I've got other authors I can expand my reading list to.

Meanwhile I am here to rave about a great book I just finished-- The Evolution of Self by Mihalyi Csizksentmihalyi, author of FLOW. Don't be fooled by the name, he's from Chicago. Muwahaha.
